Wow, Christmas is over already!

So much has happened since I last posted to my blog. Christmas is over already and we are heading into a new year. Hard to believe.

I've made some great friends this year. Gals I knew for about a year or so, but we really have become close this year. They are from my "Stampin Divas" group. I'll post a picture of the group. Picture was taken at our Christmas Party at Carole Signoretti's "Christmas House".

HAPPY FALL.........
It's been a long time since I posted here. So much water has gone over the dam since my last post. One thing, today I believe FALL is finally arriving here in Florida. I went out this morning at 6:00 a.m. for my regular morning bike ride, and Burrrrr. Haven't seen the weather report yet today, but I'm sure it's in the upper 50's or very low 60's. Hard to take when you're use to waking up to temps in the mid 70's. On the other hand, it feels sooooo good to finally feel cool!
Hopefully we will get the pontoon in the lake today. We were waiting for a cool, sunny day. Suppose to get to around 75 degrees.....should be perfect.

CITRUS FISKATEERS
That's the group alright. LOL....see all the orange ears! Mine were just too hot so I put my orange visor on instead.
Three of us had white tees embroidered with our names and Fiskateer number in orange. I really didn't know the other gals, but Brenda, and Trish, top row in white, knew them.
I know we look silly, but hey, it was a lot of fun.

Yes, That's Carol and me on the upper right......

I've been sooooo busy lately, that I completely forgot to post to my blog.
On July 27th, a group of us from here in Citrus County, Florida, went to Orlando to Celebrate Fiskar's 360th Birthday! It was a most fantastic Celebration Bash and we were flurished with goodies. The edible kind and the other kind. Yes, it was HOT, but most of our time was spent indoors at the Convention Site. We even had "Mickey Mouse Ears", but our ears were orange.
The picture of Carol Duvall and me, was taken at the very end of the day after our Desert Celebration. Earlier, I had pictures taken with Mickey, Goofy, and Donald Duck. LOL!
What a Fun Time!!!

Where has the time gone???

I cannot believe that it is the 20th of July already!!!
My daughter's birthday is coming up on the 22nd, along with her son, my grandson. They share the same birthday, but she will be 48 and he will be 26. Yep, he was born on July 22nd, her 22nd birthday. Her dad's birthday was July 23rd. Almost 3 generations on the same day.
I made them some neat "Tri Shutter Birthday Cards". Took pictures of them, but not sure how to take the pictures out of my camera yet. It's a digital and I've always used a "throw a way" camera, had the pictures developed, and then scanned them into my computer, and put them into an email or uploaded them wherever. Not sure how to do it with this camera yet. Darn.

Yesterday, June 27th, my friend Trish, her friend Brenda, and me, went to Stampfest in the Orlando area. Wow, we had a Great Time!
Spent too much money, but heck, that's what it's all about. I can't wait to get started using some of the new things I bought. When I make something with the stuff, I hope to post a picture here on my blog.
While at Stampfest, I saw several stampers from a group I belong to, "Stamping In Florida". We were all so excited to tell one another of our purchases. LOL!

Last evening we had a terrific rain. Sounded soooo good. It cooled the temp down close to 10 degrees. This morning it was really nice.....maybe a tad too humid, but the temp was in the low seventies, so it was tolerable.

I can't make up my mind, this morning, if I should go and do laps at the community pool, or go to water arobics at 10. Decisions, decisions. LOL! I do know that I have Needlework at 1p.m. That's always a relaxing, enjoyable time. I'm going to start a new project today. It will be an afghan or a "curly" scarf. Another decision.....:O)

I am working on the year 2007, in my scrapbooking. I'm up to April. I also have a "color challenge" card swap to work on for one of my "on line" yahoo groups that I belong to. When I'm done with the card, I'll put a picture up for you all to see.

Today, I'll include a picture of my little four legged friend Kato......

Hello again,
It's been terribly HOT here in Florida the past week or so. This is the time of year that I really miss Wisconsin. The fresh air of the northwoods.
I've been swimming, but hard to get refreshed when the water temp is in the 90's!
I'm trying to get the hang of doing this "blog" stuff. Still not sure of all the moves. But, the more I do it the better I'll get, right?
The thing is, it's hard to teach old dogs new tricks. LOL!

Wowsers! Isn't Technology Great!

Today is a huge day for me. I finally decided that I "could" make a blog. I've been wanting to for some time, but could never get up the courage. I'm gonna give it a go and see what happens.

So, bear with me. LOL!

Today is FATHER'S DAY, it's a great day, set aside to honor our dad's. My dad, unfortunately, is no longer with us, but, my dear husband is a father, so we will celebrate in his behalf.

I hope to use this blog, as a way to keep in touch with daily or weekly goings on in the Kowalski household. Also, to keep in touch with my scrapbooking and stamping buddies. Hope to share ideas and lots of information.
